My first real blog post. Well, I guess not technically my first ever because I kept a blog when I studied abroad in Sweden (can I go back there now?). So I guess I should say my first food blog post. This is really exciting for me, if you can’t tell, and I’m excited to share it with you!
There’s a ton of pressure with the first post – what should I post about? Do I post a recipe with old pictures (but that still look amazingly delicious and make me unconsciously drool whenever I see them) or do I try a new recipe? And if I do a new recipe – should I pick at random or pick one with a theme (like these Margarita Cupcakes, since Cinco de Mayo was this weekend)? So many questions. It was enough to leave me stress-eating the frozen cookie dough balls in my freezer. Which are now gone. Great.
Post-cookie-dough-coma, to make things a little easier for myself and to get the ball rolling, I decided to make my first post a collection of pictures from the various things I’ve baked in the past year or so. I’ve been baking for longer than that, but I got my iPhone about a year ago and it’s been my partner in crime. As you’ll see, this bakeaholic has been busy.

So these are a few of the things I’ve baked over the past year! If there’s anything in particular that you see here that you’d like a blog post for, I’d love an excuse to bake any of these again. Like Nutella Buttercream? You would have to hold me down to stop me from making it. But I don’t know why you’d want to do that. Nutella makes the world a better place.
I fully support everything you are doing right here. 1st comment!!! Boom.
